Protective Coatings
Protective Coatings
A structure’s first line of defense is its surface. Concrete and steel are constantly exposed to moisture, salts, chemicals, temperature fluctuations, and UV radiation — all of which can silently weaken their integrity over time. Without proper protection, these elements accelerate corrosion and material degradation, threatening both safety and investment value of structures.
NVLN Constructions specializes in high-performance protective coatings designed to extend the lifecycle of critical infrastructure. Our solutions go beyond aesthetics — they provide a robust barrier against adverse environmental and corrosive chemical attacks. Our technical experts select coatings on the basis of substrate compatibility, exposure conditions, and service requirements, delivering durability and performance in even the harshest environments.
Our protective coating services are delivered in compliance with codal provisions and manufacturer specifications.
- Water-Resistant Coatings
- Anti-Carbonation Coatings
- Chloride-Resistant Coatings
- Chemical, UV and Heat-Resistant Coatings
Water-resistant coatings form a layer on concrete surfaces to block water penetration and protect embedded reinforcement from moisture-induced corrosion. This technique is commonly used for exposed surfaces in bridge substructures, retaining walls, podium slabs, water tanks, and terraces.
Anti-carbonation coatings are designed to prevent ingression of carbon-dioxide (CO₂) which reduces concrete’s alkalinity and induces steel corrosion. These coatings provide excellent UV resistance and elasticity, ideal for exterior application on buildings, flyovers, and façade elements.
Chloride-resistant coatings are formulated to resist penetration of chlorides from marine or deicing environments. These specialized coatings protect ports, marine jetties, or highways in coastal areas where exposure to salt-laden water and air is high.
Chemical, UV and heat-resistant coatings are formulated for aggressive industrial environments, where exposure to harsh chemicals, solvents, high UV radiation, or thermal cycling is frequent. These coatings safeguard the substrate from surface degradation and maintain structural integrity over time.
Protective coatings work as strategic protection, not just a finish. NVLN combines world-class materials, meticulous application processes, and engineering expertise to enhance safety and delay deterioration.
